how to remove scratches from coin capsules

I own a few silver kookaburras and the plastic coin capsule they come in scratches very easily. Is there any easy way to buff out those scratches to make it look better?

I don't know about buffing it out. My great grandfather always told me tooth past to a watch lense, but I never tried it. Here is a link for brand new ones.

What about that stuff you spray on CD's to take the scratches out? Or one of those car wax pens you use to fill in light scratches on a car?

Practical Idea!

Very 'outside the box' my friend.

Whenever I get a NEW car I always wax it; SO...

Whenever I obtain a NEW PCGS NGC ANACS slabbed coin -

I use my 20 year wax on it -

simply Z Best - just a dap.

Protects removes scratches and wipes off fingerprints too!

I had my last car for over 20 years a BLACK (in the Southern CAL sun) 780 Volvo looked as good almost as the day I first waxed it!

If their light a couple rubbings with a soft cloth and Armor All, and then light buffing with another dry soft cloth will recondition the surface of the plastic.

Just don't spill any Armor All on a tile floor or it will become dangerously slippery.

you just gave me a good idea. I'm gonna wax all my air-tites, lol... I haven't heard of Z Best but I use Opti-Seal

I think plastic is softer than paint so that polish better be a finishing polish design for use by hand unless if you wanna bust out a rotary buffer on that pcgs slab. :hahaha:

Glad to keep you thinking out of the old box - we all need some help - now & then:

That ARMORAL is one fine idea too. Try what works for you. I like the silicone wax because it is just like that OLD plastic wax (for those plastic {PLEXIGLASS?} clear sheets I have in the top of my sunroom) I used to have years ago.

Don't laugh but I'm kinda like the fellow in "My FAT GREEK WEDDING" only it's not WINDEX but my SIMPLY Z BEST.

having some fun - have I told you about my collodial silver spray? :111::111:
